The mission of New Mexico CultureNet is to promote the understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultures of New Mexico by connecting people, ideas and resources. Their vision is of New Mexico as a state with:

Expanded public access to cultural information
Wider public acceptance of diverse cultures
Increased infrastructure and access to information by rural and underserved New Mexicans
Expanded economic development as it relates to culture
Increased recognition of the work of New Mexico artisans, artists and writers
Greater appreciation of the creative work of New Mexico’s youth
Universal K-12 arts education and literacy
Increased cooperation between people working in arts in organizations, schools, colleges, businesses and government agencies
It's a very interesting site to visit with at least three exciting active programs at this time. Culturenet is also developing an arts and culture Web portal for the City of Santa Fe.
