The Herald is one of three papers serving T or C and Sierra County. But it is the only T or C paper that provides a full online edition. It's also the only online paper we've seen that provides PDF images of their paper-edition pages rather than converting their paper content to a faster-loading web format. The PDF pages are larger (and thus load slower) than web formatted pages. But at least The Herald's news is current and their site isn't just an electronic teaser for their paper edition.
