I was just looking through your site and I spotted one of my brother's sandpainting that he did. My brother's name is Ronald Watchman and he passed on a few years back.
I just wanted to share this with you. I lived in Fort Worth, TX and when I was still in High School I did do some sandpainting myself but I really didn't sell anything. I know my brother liked what he did and he enjoyed all the paintings he did.
It is good to see some of his work elsewhere.
Thank you very much,
Linda Ahasteen

Dear Linda:
Isn't serendipity a wonderful thing? That is if you believe in serendipity... I think all things happen for a reason.
One thing we're fond of saying is Steppin' Out covers "all things beautiful in New Mexico". Today, your note was the most beautiful thing to happen around here. So you get covered tonight because we wanted to say, "You're welcome."
Thanks for visiting us and for noticing and commenting on the presence of your departed brother Ronald's art on Pentimento Gallery's www.BosqueArt.com (http://www.bosqueart.com/) site. That site, incidentally is one of our "Cameo Sites (http://www.cameosite.com/)". We'll be sure to share your note with Pentimento Gallery owner, Kristie Chadwick. It was delightful to hear that through the magic of technology we were able to reunite you with your long-departed brother if only for a moment.
But in truth, we were only the vehicle for that message from beyond, which I can only assume was patiently arranged by Ronald himself. Working through someone else from somewhere else he convinced the owner of his work to take it to San Antonio's Pentimento Gallery to sell. Later, he arranged for us to become their webmaster and drop by the gallery to take photos of his art and those of a several other artists too. Today he arranged for you to wander into our site for a visit and find his work being displayed there.
So in our Guest Book we'll record this as a paranormal incident. Ronald wanted to send you a message. So he quietly arranged things so he could surprise you and in a very direct way reach out to you through something beautiful you shared and say he still loves you.
Our role in all this was that of messenger. But we're pleased to have played a small part in your reunion.
Welcome to our statewide arts and entertainment community, Linda. And to the extent we played a part, you're entirely welcome! ;)
Warmest Best Wishes,
Pengwen
