There will be a 2-day art show and exhibition called "The Invitational Summer Art Bash" in Magdalena, presented by Pepper’s Art Gallery and The Creative Connection on June 3rd and 4th from 9am to 5pm both days.
The featured artist for this event is Warren Smart, most known for his huge watercolor canvases celebrating scenes of nature and of New Mexico vistas. Other local artisans will present painting, gourd art, jewelry, fiber art, clay sculpture, weaving and more.
Peppers Art Gallery will have a large tent set up to house this art show, furnishing comfort and protection from the elements for both the artists and visitors. More details will be shared as this art bash develops.
Peppers Art Gallery is a well-established gallery in Magdalena, located right next to the Post Office on Highway 60 as you enter the Village proper. "We have many plans for the development and expansion of our gallery and show space," says Markey Bamert and Wendy Jones, co-owners of Peppers. "We see a bright future ahead withcontinued sound customer and artist support for the gallery."
The Creative Connection is a small group of Magdalena artisans who help promote venues for artists to display and sell their work while connecting art activities to the community. "Peppers is offering a great opportunity for Magdalena artisans to show and sell here in the Village," says Cat Brysch, founder of The Connection. "We look forward to this "Art Bash" becoming an annual thing!"
