The ranch -- situated near Columbus -- is near the Mexican Border 60 miles south of Deming. The area is also the home of the Pancho Villa State Park and will always be famous as the place where Villa and his band of Mexican irregulars invaded the US, 90 years ago. One great time to do that will be during during the gallery's official "Grand Opening" on December 9th. After chatting with owner, Jeri Heath, it sounds like the new Gallery will be a very fun place. Among other things, they are offering a series of Art Workshops monthly to teach interested artists, guests and local folks how to create new forms of beautiful art. The gallery is so new folks at the ranch are still touching up paint, hanging curtains and putting up new art on the walls. But everything will be in order long before they host their Grand Opening party on December 9th!
