Truth or Consequences – After your soak in a mineral hot springs spa, where in T or C do you go to eat?

The new Turtleback Oasis offers delicious and all natural soups, sandwiches and desserts for a nutritious meal after that healthy soak or an invigorating art walk.

Located at 520 Broadway, the store is currently expanding its mission of offering purified water and ice. Turtleback Oasis is open Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm and Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm.

Debbie Stickney, new owner, is in the process of moving her organic and natural foods from the Natural Health Shoppe, farther east along Broadway, into the location. “It’s got lots of parking,” she notes, with room for RVs as well as smaller vehicles. <img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/chili_pepper_spin.gif align=right hspace=2 vspace=2>

In the process of moving, she’s offering customers huge savings on items such as health food supplements and bulk foods, so stop by and see exactly what’s available.

An energetic and enthusiastic woman, Debbie is enjoying the new customers and seeing more people introduced to and eating healthy food. All their food – sandwiches, soups, desserts, drinks – are either organic or natural. That includes homemade breads including a multigrain that is truly multi-grain.

She has ham, beef and chicken and even makes a mean Wisconsin cheese and sausage sandwich “with a choice of garlic sausage or regular summer sausage, hot honey mustard or hot horseradish mustard and a thick slab of onion,” she says.

She’s already in the process of planting an herb garden for those fresh garden herbs in the future. “There’s nowhere nearby where you can get fresh herbs,” she says wistfully, adding she does know a gardener who in the future may offer plants and trees for sale.

She has tons of other plans as well–including expanding the store for additional space.

Meanwhile she offers holiday gifts and gift baskets for the health-conscious on your list. While you're browsing her selection, take time for a piece of lemon meringue pie, pumpkin cheesecake pie or brownie– all, again, made with organic and natural ingredients.

Have questions? Call 894-0179 or drop in, ask for Debbie and get your answers in person.
