You're invited to enjoy New Mexico's
Tastiest Pecan Treats In Chuchillo Feb 24, 2007!

Cuchillo, NM - The annual Pecan Festival held in Cuchillo, each February is hosted by Ritch's Pecans and Candy Shoppe. Cuchillo is located, 15 miles northwest of Truth or Consequences on NM's Hwy 52. The 2007 Pecan Festival is their 9th annual event. All proceeds from the fetival are donated by the Ritch family and other participating area businesses to the New Mexico Boys and Girls ranches.

In addition to the delicious pecan pies and candies prepared and sold by the Bill and Bernice Ritch, one of the highlights of the festival is the guided tours they offer of their 8 acre Pecan Orchard. The event attracts hundreds of visitors each year and the 2007 event should be a particularly good festival because last year's bumper pecan harvest was one of the most bountiful in state history. New Mexico is widely known as one of the most productive pecan producing regions in the U.S.

The Festival runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm on February 24th in Cuchillo New Mexico which is located north of Truth or Consequences off I-25. It's a short drive for a great time and remember, all the proceeds from this event go to two very worthy charities. If you need directions or other details, call the Ritch's shop at 505-743-3201. The fine folks at Ritch's Pecan Candies and Pies are looking forward to welcoming you and your family and taking you on a guided tour of their beautiful pecan orchard.

See you there!
