Minnesota artist paints the music scene
Truth or Consequences - Minnesota artist Tom Tyler brings 20 of his music, dance and live performance-themed paintings to Downtown’s hippest gallery, Rio Bravo Fine Art, for a one-man show Feb. 10 – April 7.
Titled “A Fuego!” the exhibit features a meet-the-artist reception on Saturday, Feb. 10th from 6-9 p.m. at the gallery, 110 South Broadway, Truth or Consequences.

Tyler's painting "Dancers" reflects the vitality of his works.
“Tyler is an exciting artist whose bold use of color and choice of subject matter – musicians, dancers and performers – make his works appealing to New Mexico audiences,” says Eduardo Alicea, co-owner of Rio Bravo Fine Art.
“His passionate and intense use of color and thick layering of paint add to the vitality of the works.”

Tyler's paintings have appeared in national and regional shows and he has won many national and regional awards. His work has even been used on the cover of a CD album for the jazz music group Soul Cafe.
