Vienna Boys Choir

On Saturday, March 3 at 8 p.m. the world famous Vienna Choir boys fill the Spencer with divine chorals sung in eight different languages. Founded in 1498, the Vienna Boys features approximately forty 10 to 14-year-olds singing sacred classical melodies and secular medieval folk tunes, American Pop and Broadway hits. At the Spencer concert the boys will sing under the direction of Kerem Sezen, a vastly experienced choral singer who is much in demand as a soloist in operas and oratorios.

Almost peerless through the centuries, the Vienna Boys Choir is sure to be memorable. Don’t miss this legendary choir as their harmonies ring sweet with the grand acoustical surround-sound of the Spencer Theater.Tickets are available at $39 and $36 for this international acclaimed group.

Don Quixote

February begins with a classic favorites the Moscow Ballet performs Don Quixote on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 8 pm.

“A knight errant without love entanglements would be like a tree without leaves or fruit, or a body without a soul” (Cervantes 1.1, Raffel translation) Indeed, love is magical, and every one of Don Quixote’s myriad adventures revolves around that heroic odyssey.

In the classic ballet “Don Quixote” by Leon Minkus and Marius Petipa, the endearing dreamer follows his vision of Dulcinea with his squire Sancho Panza. The magic unfurls at the Spencer Theater at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7th with brilliant leaps and lifts by the 50 Russian dancers of the world renowned Moscow Festival Ballet. Come enjoy the action and feel the love at the Spencer!

Lost in Yonkers

Audiences are whisked to wartime New York at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16th when Neil Simon’s Pulitzer Prize winning “Lost in Yonkers” takes center stage ($39 & $36). This hilarious, heartwarming story is about two young brothers and their eccentric relatives during WWII. Presented by the stellar Equity acting troupe, the Montana Repertory Theatre Company, whose cast has performed in various Broadway and Off- Broadway productions. “Yonkers” is a great story that draws out both laughter and tears.

Bernstein’s ‘Town’

Leonard Bernstein’s snazzy, jazzy Big Broadway musical “Wonderful Town,” comes to town at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27 ($49 & $46). This darling, light-hearted musical comedy is about two -ge New York City. Featuring big song and dance numbers with lots of razzle-dazzle, “Wonderful Town” is a 2004 Tony Award winner for Best Choreography. Produced by Columbia Artists Theatricals, which previously presented “CATS” at the Spencer, “Wonderful Town” stars 30 singers, dancers & orchestra musicians with period-rich costumes and sets.

Urban Cowboys

On Thursday, March 15 & Friday, March 16 at 8, “Urban Cowboy– The Musical! A high energy Tony-nominated country music dance revue inspired by the 1980 blockbuster film “Urban Cowboy.” Score includes hit songs by Clint Black, Travis Trill, Brooks & Dunn. Starring 30 singers, dancers and musicians, this is an endearing boy-meets-girl story with bronco-busting appeal. Excellent seats are available for $46-$36.
