<center>Mountainair Artists and Community Preparing to Repeat Popular Art Tour</center>

Mountainair, NM – If the stories they tell about last year's Mountain Arts Tour are any indication, then you won't want to miss this year's event set for June 9. Everyone we've spoken with who attended this event last year seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. They say the food was delicious, the art displayed during the weekend was great, the entertainment was high quality and even the weather was cooperative too.
The Arts Tour, sponsored by the Manzano Mountain Arts Council, is an opportunity for local artists, crafters, food vendors, retailers, musicians, writers, historians, children, restaurateurs, and hoteliers to share their unique Mountainair wares and hospitality with visitors from all over New Mexico as well as more distant locations.
Studios, galleries, street-side booths, schools, community centers, retail businesses, and churches will all open their doors to exhibits, performances, art displays, food and craft sales, historical tours, antique auto excursions and more.
This year the Arts Tour will take place one day only, Saturday, June 9, 2007 and will begin at 10am and end at 6pm. The days’ activities will close with a wine and tapas reception featuring local New Mexico wines and live music.
