Alto, NM – The Alto Artists’ Studio Tour will be held August 4 & 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. atop the panoramic mesas embraced by the Capitan and Sacramento Mountains of south-central New Mexico.

Many artists await your discovery. During this self-guided tour you can enjoy the cool weather and share their inspiration as the versatile artists of Alto exhibit their work for sale.
Each stop will feature multiple artists in different media and a diverse variety of work is offered. On display will be paintings in watercolor, oil and pastel; wood, bronze, and gourd sculptures, furniture, tile, jewelry, masks and art and spirit dolls.
Alto is located 5 miles north of Ruidoso on Hwy 48. Brochures and maps are available at the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce and at sponsor locations.
