<img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/Grapes-34.JPG align=left hspace=4>Tularosa, NM-Come enjoy fine wine in a beautiful, historic setting during the 3rd annual Tularosa Basin Wine Festival Sept 15 and 16.

Sitting at the junction of New Mexico Hwys 70 and 54 the historic town of Tularosa features buildings with the reminisce of earlier days- tin ceilings, and wooden plank floors. The 49-Block Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Tularosa Basin Wine Chapter of New Mexico Vine and Wine invite you to the schoolyard of St. Francis de Paula Church. The old historic church is the foundation of the community and with it's grand old cottonwood trees it lends itself to a delightfully refreshing place to escape in order to enjoy a wonderful sampling of New Mexico's finest wines.

The first Tularosa festival included three wineries and a handful of booths and crafters. This year's festival features eight wineries, 25 crafters and local art exhibits, food booths, live musical entertainment and commemmorative t-shirt.

Two loical authors will be on hand to sign copies of their books and the Tularosa Village Historical Society will sponsor walking tours of the historic area.

On September 15, Cynthia Prelo-Riedlinger will offer a course from 7:30 AM to 8PM on New Mexico Travel, Tularosa Wine Festival and Historic Granada Street.
The Tularosa Basin Wine Festival will provide a refreshing taste of New Mexico's finest wineries and wines. Admission is $10.00 for adults in advance, $12.00 at the gate, which includes a beautifully etched wine glass for a memento. Located at Encino and 3rd Street, East behind St. Francis de Paula Church. There is ample parking.
