Major Ruidoso Artists Step Out In Steppin' Out New Mexico
JOHN T. SODEN is the featured cover artist for the “Official Ruidoso Visitor’s Guide”for the next two years. He has chosen to advertise in Steppin’ Out Print Edition and on www.SONewMex.com (http://www.sonewmex.com/) in order to connect with as many viewers for his work as possible, not only in Ruidoso but in the entirety of the state of New Mexico. Mr. Soden is reknowned for his hand pulled sepia toned photographic prints of New Mexico landscapes and “enchanted moments” in nature and of the people and sights of the state. His work hangs , by special invitation, in Washington D.C., in the New Mexico Representatives office as a tribute to the uniqueness of the Enchanted state.
JENNIFER McMANUS creates beaded tapestries of intricate native American designs. Made from tiny seed beads, these works always invoke ooh’s and ahh’s from the viewers.

CARLA LEE MORROW grew up in a family of artists, where drawing and painting was a daily activity. She creates prints of colorful fantasy dragons and battle fairies which she shows at major art festivals and has for view and for sale on her website.
JASON MORROW creates worlds of wonder in torch work marble spheres. He shows his work at major art festivals and on his website. Jason and his wife Carla are forging a contemporary swath into the traditional arts available in Ruidoso.
