<img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/clock_run_backwards_md_clr.gif border=0 align=left hspace=5>Lincoln New Mexico: Look into the twilight shadows of Old Lincoln.
Listen to what your ears hear, though you are alone on the streets. What is that shadow that you think you saw, just there, moving away from you?
You have come to see the old buildings and to read,/ hear of the history here. But wait…….pay attention…..there are hoof-beats heard where there are no horses.
<img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/lenin_casket_ghost_lg_blk.gif border=0 align=right hspace=5>There are dancers dancing in the old Lincoln County Court house windows, though the building is locked and silent. There are strange green mists swirling about the streets.
Walk a little further, as you hold your breath and wonder.
There. On the porch of the old Shrek house. Is that a little girl dancing, singing to herself?
You walk past another house in old Lincoln and think you see a woman cleaning the window in a house abandoned.
You shrug off this illusion, walk to the park near the creek behind the old Tunstall store and hear whispering voices and laughter.
Wondering, edgy, you wander for company and solace into the Curry restaurant. Debbie is offering Twilight dinners and Ghost Tours.
You sit, have a root beer and ask……… “Hey, is there anything to this ghost stuff?”
“Ask Pearl Tippin”, Debbie says. “She’s the one who’s researched the ghost stories told by local residents who have actually experienced this stuff. She gives the ghost tours here.”
You sit, you think. You sign up for the ghost tour to learn more.
