The festive atmosphere is spread throughout the huge park with booths and activities and strolling minstrels, jesters, people walking on stilts, jostling, selling their wares. It’s like a village has sprung up in the middle of this modern city, complete with the inhabitants of yore.

There’s handcarved swords and pewter dragons and jewelry galore. Plus festival pageantry and lots of games and demonstrations of skill and chance to keep everyone in the family entertained.
The small entrance fee helps raise funds for the Doña Ana Arts Council which is busy all year presenting art and helping develop the talents of young and younger in this great southern New Mexico City.
