Their 2nd annual Day of the Dead art contest is open to all. Entries are due at the gallery on Oct. 23 for the show which will begin on Oct. 27 with an opening awards ceremony and continue through the Festival of the Cranes weekend, Nov. 17.

The gathering of area artisans offering pottery, whimsical candles, jewelry, engraved glasswear and more, is Sat. Oct. 27, perfect weather and timing to get a jump start on holiday shopping.
Frybread and Navajo tacos will be served up by Alamo Community Services. (Let’s hope for that blue corn frybread again!)
