Antiquarian Book Fair to benefit Maxwell Museum


<img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/guttenberg.jpg align=right border=1 hspace=5 alt="Gutenberg Bibles are just one example of fine Antiquarian Books">Albuquerque – The 17th Albuquerque Antiquarian Book Fair is set for Friday and Saturday, April 4-5 at the University of New Mexico’s Conference Center, 1634 University Blvd, just north of Indian School.

They offer books, maps, photos, prints and other printed collectibles in diverse subjects.

The events begins on Friday at 5 pm with a silent auction of library surplus and donated items. Saturday’s fair is from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission for both days is $6 or for Saturday only, $2. Free parking is available.

The event is sponsored by the Maxwell Museum Association, a nonprofit organization. All proceeds will benefit the archives and library of the University of New Mexico’ Maxwell Museum of Anthropology.
