Peggy and Doyne Loyd

<img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/cover_peggy.jpg border=1 align=left hspace=5 alt="La Ventura by Peggy Loyd">Near Pie Town NM- Peggy and Doyne Loyd live 25 miles northeast of Pie Town. Most of their work is panoramic landscapes and macro-photographs. They print on cotton-rag-fine art paper or canvas using durable pigmented inks. Should the client wish they also mat and frame using conservation-grade materials and methods.

They can print virtually any size image on their 44” HP Z3100 printer. Canvas prints are stretched on stretcher bars like traditional canvas paintings. On occasion they shoot local activities such as roundups. They will also do custom photo shoots of whatever the client might wish wherever it might be. Using three Canon camera bodies and a selection of lenses from 24mm to 1000mm including architectural lenses allows the capture of most any setting. Solar panels power their computers and printers.

According to Peggy, one work may contain over 40 individual shots digitally assembled. You can find a selection of their work at www.photonewmexico.biz (http://www.photonewmexico.biz/); Pepper’s Gallery, Magdalena; Double Six Gallery, Grants; Old School House Gallery, Ramah; Southwest American Art, Old Town, Albuquerque; and Johnsons of Madrid, Madrid.
