Print Making Exhibit, Poetry and Workshops
are all on agenda at Unsettled Gallery

Las Cruces, NM – Art, Poetry, Playwriting and Printing are on the agenda at Unsettled Gallery during the month of April.
An exhibit titled “Print It: The Fine Art of Traditional, Contemporary and Experimental Print Making” opens April 11 with an artists’ reception from 5-7 pm. Featured artists include Ann Adams, Sylvia Bowers, Donald A. Brenner, Richard Krieger, JD Jarvis, Myriam Lozada Jarvis, Lois Smith,Ouida Touchón and Laurel Weathersbee.
The new gallery at 905 N. Mesquite is offering several workshops in April. Sign up for a workshop or just go and enjoy this great new art venue in a beautifuly renovated old adobe on historic Mesquite Ave. The gallery is open Wednesday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 10-4.
The gallery is also hosting a Poetry Reading on April 26 from 6-8 pm.
Workshops offered through Unsettled during April are:
Touch Printing with Katya Delusia, a mixed media technique, combines painting and tactile printing to produce an intuitive, fluid and dreamlike image. April 17, April 24 and May 1.
Hand Painted “Snakes”, with artist Laurel Weathersbee, using found materials and acrylics, April 19
Expressive Gestural Drawing, Laurel Weathersbee, April 26
Playwriting Workshop with Playwright and director Deborah LaPorte, April 27, continues on May 18 and June 22.
