The book bash will be held at Art is OK and Co. Gallery and Sculpture Plaza, 3301 Menaul Blvd NE, Suite 28.

Amador is New Mexico's leading humanist press and has been publishing fiction and non-fiction about New Mexico or written by New Mexico authors since 1986. They have published dozens of books by New Mexicans and about New Mexico. A list of Amador titles can be found on their web site.

Although the Mothers' Day Book Bash coincides with the release of the latest edition of Adela Amador's "More Gifts from a Southwest Kitchen", copies of virtually all of the Amador titles will be available for sale during the Book Bash. So bring mom along and let her choose her own book(s). The authors of several Amador titles are expected to attend the bash. You never know, but mom might want to own copies of Ancestral Notes by Zelda Gatushkin, or Duke City Tales by Harry Willson, or The Hummingbird Brigade by David Condit, or Paradise Found, and Lost by Eva Krutein.

The fact that other Amador authors will be present means you may be lucky enough to get autographed copies of the books you buy for mom! And even if you have no mom, you'll have a chance to add a few great books written in New Mexico to your personal collection.

Adela Amador, author of More Gifts from a Southwest Kitchen will be on hand celebrating the reprinting of this great recipe collection. Artist Claiborne (a/k/a Mike) O’Connor will also be there. Taste pies and other treats from Adela’s collection of family recipes.
