SpiritFest is bringing together an incredible line up of 10 national and international Christian entertainers, something for everyone, from the very young to the young at heart. Mercyme, The Afters, Bibleman, Dennis Swanberg, Daniel Rodriquez, New Zealand’s Marla Kavanaugh, Bethany Dillon, Trilby Michel, LORUSS, Paradigm, as well as JUST ADDED: David Brown and his Firehouse Puppet Theater. This is a lively show that teaches the many important aspects of life including safety, neatness, patience and compassion. Morning Star will also be bring Fireman Chuck and His Amazing Fire Truck, Drago & His Magical Calliope, and last but not least a Magic Show! All of this will all be here to provide an experience no attendee will ever forget, promises Mary Helene Sullivan, organizer and co-founder of Angel Peak Ministries.
Angel Peak Ranch is opening their gates at 11 am for this first SpiritFest, but the roots of this fledgling ministry were established more than 125 years ago. It’s a story which begins with the emigration of a couple from Ireland in search of religious freedom and continues in the 1800s when Angel Peak Ranch was homesteaded by Daniel L. and Mary Alice Sullivan. You can look through the family history and find donations to various ministries, notes and other documents which are like footprints from the heart of past generations to the heart of the present owner of Angel Peak Ranch, Mary Helene Sullivan.
The purpose of Angel Peak Ministry and of SpiritFest, says Mary Helene, “is to be a uniting voice in the 4-Corners area and beyond. We invite believers of all faiths to come together, put aside our differences and work together to: reunite hurting and displaced Christians with Godly fellowship, focus on shared values and move toward what truly unites us - our love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mary Helene plans to make this a yearly event and has other visionary plans as well, including summer camps and the Liberty Shooting School.
As the ministry grows and spreads it’s wings, we know that Mary Helene’s father, R. Bruce Sullivan and past generations are looking on with pride knowing that their homestead is still producing fine, naturally raised, grass fed cattle, as well as being used to further God’s word and bring full circle the foundation of religious freedom.
