Madrid – An informal fashion show by the New Mexico Silk Painters Guild will highlight Johnsons of Madrid’s First Saturday open house on Aug. 2 from 1-5 pm. The fashion show is part of the performance and art reception afternoon at the gallery which is celebrating its 35th year in Madrid on the Turquoise Trail. While the picture on Steppin’ Out’s cover won’t be hanging in the exhibit, viewers can glimpse other equally exquisite creations throughout the galleries.
Start the afternoon off listening to the Free Range Acoustics in the new performance space from 1-3 pm ($10 donation requested). The fashion show and reception follow from 3-5 pm.
