The Creative Connection in Magdalena is another group formed to promote the arts in the Magdalena area. The second event organized by this group and co-sponsored by many other Magdalena businesses is the High Flying Art Festival which will be held this fall on November 17 & 18 at the Magdalena Municipal School Creative Arts Center during the Festival of the Cranes. The event seems well planned and organized and more than 20 local artists, artisans, craftmen and crafty ladies are participating. So, if you are tired out from too much bird watching and have the time on the 17th or 18th of November, we highly suggest taking an afternoon and driving up to Magdalena to help this arts event get off the ground!
