Corrales – The Corrales Bosque Gallery, located in the heart of this historic village, is celebrating the holidays with its 15th annual show, an exhibit of innovative styles and one of a kind gifts.
Along with new paintings by member artists, there is sculpture, jewelery in all manner of permutation, greeting cards suitable for framing, small decorative boxes, and of course, the wonderful handmade Christmas Ornaments the artists provide each year.
There is always something new and clever; something to make you laugh; something to give you pause for reflection and peace. You must come by. It is a show you will love seeing. <img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/CorralesAppleTree.jpg align=right border=1 vspace=1 hspace=5 alt="Apple Tree monoprint by Diana Steton">
The artist-owned gallery opened in 1994 and continues to offer a showcase for the dynamic and changing visual arts experience of New Mexico. The gallery prides itself on its eclectic mix of fine arts and crafts in a reasonable range of prices.
The show will run through Feb. 3, 2009. The gallery is open daily from 10-5. It is located at 4658 Corrales Road in the heart of the historic district of the village in Mercado de Maya.
The gallery’s next show is a benefit show called Feed the Soul, an annual event which raises funds for the Road Runner Food Bank. For info: 505-898-7203. www.corralesbosquegallery.com.
