Las Cruces The annual Doņa Ana Arts Council Renaissance Craftfaire is held the first full weekend in November (Nov. 5 & 6) at Young Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The lake, towering trees, and rolling lawns provide an idyllic setting for the Renaissance Craftfaire. Artists' booths line shaded pathways and strolling minstrels entertain fairegoers.
The Craftfaire focuses on a juried arts show and the jurors will select participants exhibiting only the highest quality arts and crafts. Artists' booths are supported by performances of music, dance, theatre, and a variety of food booths, all presented in a Renaissance theme.
The Renaissance Craftfaire, featuring over 160 artists' booths, is recognized as one of the finest of its kind in the Southwest. It is sponsored by the Dona Ana Arts Council, a hard-working group which accomplishes much for the arts community. Call 505-523-6403 for more information.
