Winner of eight Tony Awards, this fun-loving musical is about a quiet Midwestern town which suddenly gets inundated by early '60's rock star-obsessed fans, and the riotous lament of parents with teenagers in love. The wacky romance stars a cast of singers, dancers and musicians with Windwood Productions of New York.

Then, don’t miss Crystal Gayle on Friday, March 27 at 8pm. The Grammy and CMA award winner brings her crystalline vocals to the Spencer with her classic hits: "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue," "Cry Me A River," "You," "Coal Miner's Daughter," "I Still Miss Someone," "Don't Come Home a Drinking (With Lovin' on Your Mind)" and other country, folk, pop and jazz favorites.

Next, The Drowsy Chaperone hits the stage on April 25 at 2 and 8 pm. Presented by the same company that brought "The Producers" to the Spencer, this new musical comedy - winner of the most 2006 Tony Awards - is the hilarious, nostalgic tale of a celebrity bride and her uproarious wedding day, complete with saucy old-time characters like gangsters, show people, millionaires and dubious servants - and glitzy fantasy sets. Starring 30 singers, dancers and musicians with NETworks Presentations of New York.

Another winning musical is scheduled for May 16. Footloose is based on the 1980s movie sensation, this dazzling dance-and-song hit is about a restless city boy who moves to rural America where dancing is banned and turns the whole town upside-down by going footloose. Starring a cast of singers, dancers and musicians with Off Broadway Productions, it features a host of '80s hits: "Almost Paradise," "Let's Hear It For The Boy," "Footloose."
