The Studio’s Grand Opening Reception for the fundraiser will be April 4th, from 5-8 pm.</font></font>
<font face="Georgia"><font size="3">The name of the show is The American Dream and the theme, of course, is architecture, with a focus on local scenes. Any artist who can hand-deliver his or her work and is within the guidelines for the theme can enter. There is no admission charge for the grand opening and the Reception is open to the public. Festivities will include wine from Tularosa Vineyards, a silent auction, and an awards presentation for the best artwork as judged by our Featured Artist, Kathy Hauge of High Rolls.</font></font>

<font face="Georgia"><font size="3">Artist/owners, Marcos & Robin Lee, relocated to Tularosa last April from Florida, and have spend the last eight months renovating the old Tularosa Monuments building, located at the north “Y” junction of highways 54 & 70, thus the name. The building, originally a 70-year-old, two-bay service station across from the Conoco Truck Stop, will function as the artists’ studio and gallery to show their award-winning work. Additionally, the gallery will feature work from other local and national artists, such as watercolorist, Cyndy Nesbit of Sacramento, NM; weavers Kenny Nix & Kelly Stewart of High Rolls; fine craft by Jan Rasch of Cloudcroft; ceramist, David Gordon of Cloudcroft, NM; metalwork by Sonny Villareal of Alamogordo, NM; and watercolorist & oil painter, Karen Leffel- Massengill of Palm City, FL. Any artist is welcome to submit work for consideration. The summer show will also include a workshop with Karen, a nationally recognized, awardwinning painter & instructor.</font></font>
