Steppin’ Out and SONewMex.com are pleased to present a new service we call the Cameo Site (Sm). The new feature includes a print ad and an on-line presence that includes a web domain linked to your online classified ad and online photo gallery.
“We designed Cameo Sites specifically for artists and small art galleries,” says Tom Platt, owner of Web Witchcraft Publishing and webmaster for SONewMex.com
The basic service package costs a mere 75 cents a day for individuals and under $1 a day for the more expanded small business gallery.
The Cameo Site (Sm) takes the guess-work out of on-line advertising, Platt said, and gives advertisers an easily identifiable web –presence supplemented with an in-print ad in Steppin Out which distributes up to 25,000 copies in more than 200 locations around the state of New Mexico and into Texas and Arizona.
The Cameo Site includes a domain name (such as www.CameoSite.com (http://www.cameosite.com/)). When a person visits the site, they are taken to the online classified ad which then leads them to a photo gallery featuring your works.
The Cameo Site for individual artists, writers and performers including the print classified ad is $275 for the year. We offer an expanded site for small businesses at $360.
“One of the beauties of this service,” says pengwen, publisher of Steppin’ Out, “is its flexibility. We can tie the on-line presence with any ad. The new print classified section is our most affordable service yet; but the idea also works with advertisements throughout the printed issues.
“It gives you an affordable way to get the word out about you both in print and on-line without the major time and expense normally associated with developing a website.
“Best of all you don’t have to worry that no one will know where your website is. It’s not jumbled into the back of some other website with a long, hard-to-type name. It doesn’t just disappear into the virtual world.”
