Day Use
Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is designed as a day-use park for walkers, bicyclists and wildlife watchers.
Commitment to Education
The new park will reach out to local schools so it can enhance its tradition and serve local youngsters as an outdoor classroom.
Development Schedule
New Park Superintendent Stan Ellis has his staff on board preparing the park for its expected opening in fall 2008.
The Division completed construction of the park access road and commenced work on a $1.9 million visitor center that, when completed in early 2008, will become a premier environmental learning center in southern New Mexico.
Friends
This new park will thrive only through strong partnerships with individuals and businesses through a park friends group. Contact Stan Ellis if you want to be part of the team!
