Fishing
The park's 3-acre pond is stocked with rainbow trout in winter and channel catfish in summer.
Watch Birds
Many bird species make their home at the park during the year, especially in winter. Look for great blue heron, quail and western sandpiper.
Getting There
Oasis State Park is 6.5 miles north of Portales via NM 467.
