On Saturday July 14 the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum will present New Zealand Day from 10-4. The third in it's summer-long "Around the World in 80 Days" series highlighting a different region of the world each Saturday through Sept. 1.

Sponsored by the New Mexico Council for the Humanities, noted Chautauqua musician and storyteller Brenda Hollingsworth-Marley will offer aboriginal music from New Zealand and Australia. Visitors will sample anzac biscuits, a cookie from the two countries, and other foods whipped up by BS Grilling. Other offerings include a talk on ballooning in New Zealand, children's activities and crafts, balloon pins, and information on weather and travel in the land of the Kiwi.


New Zealand Day is free with regular admission. For adults, it's $4; NM residents, $3; seniors over 65, $2; and children ages 4-12, $1. Kids three and under are free.
