Acclaimed Southwest Ghost Hunters Host Hunts & Tours Across Region

Albuquerque, NM – Folks in Cloudcroft may not know it yet, but New Mexico's crack Ghost Hunting team -- the Southwest Ghost Hunters Association -- is planning to retreat to their high-mountain village on October 13 and 14. However, after all the Ghost Hunts and Tours SGHA has hosted this summer, it's possible there may be dozens of cranky ghosts in hot pursuit behind them.<br><br><img src=http://sonewmex.com/images/fleming.jpg border=1 align=right hspace=5 alt="Guest speaker Chris Fleming will talk at the retreat">All summer long the Southwest Ghost Hunters Association -- a widely acclaimed and respected paranormal research group -- has been offering unique opportunities for the public to experience the spectral side of the southwest region in a series of events, tours and retreats specially designed to immerse participants into the often misunderstood, yet increasingly popular realm of ghost hunting.<br><br>The Ghost Hunters Association is a research organization, comprised of both skeptics and believers. The organization was founded in 1984 by Cody Polston who remains President of the group and serves on the Board of Directors. Select members of the association have been chosen to be showcased providing a variety of experiences known as Haunted Adventures.<br><br>As part of this eclectic series, SGHA Inc recently announced the upcoming October 13-14 retreat named, "The Legendary Lady of the Lodge" which will be an overnight ghost hunting retreat at the historic Lodge Resort and Spa in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. This event will be hosted by leading members of the Southwest Ghost Hunters Association and its special featured guest, Chris Fleming (professional lecturer and television host) with whom they worked on the Billy the Kid episode of the international television series Dead Famous in 2006.<br><br>Additional Haunted Adventures offerings by SGHA this year include (or have included) historic and haunted tours of Santa Fe and its landmarks, dinners and overnight ghost hunting events at notable locations throughout the region and VIP driving tours bringing to light the darker side of Albuquerque, to name a few.
