2007 Fine Artists and Craftsmen Featured at the 8th Annual Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival Holiday Show
November 30 and December 1 & 2, 2007
The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival - Holiday Show one of Albuquerque’s favorites, is held during the heart of the buying season, November 30-Decmeber 2 in the Lujan Exhibit Complex at Expo New Mexico! It’s prime time for holiday shopping! With cheerful music, artist demonstrations, the Holiday Cookie Walk and Kids Creation Station™, it’s no wonder it was ranked in the top 70 shows nationwide in Sunshine Artist’s 200 Best list. The festival offers the perfect occasion for holiday shoppers to enter the spirit of the season and begin their gift buying!
This juried arts and crafts festival features the work of more than 200 fine artists and craftsmen from all over the nation, is one of the largest in the state and is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors. The Festival highlights a wonderful variety of handcrafted items in all price ranges. Creativity and uniqueness abound in pottery, paintings, jewelry, woodworking, metal works, clothing, and handcrafts of all kinds.
Especially for the kids, "Holiday Creation Station" is held in its own exhibit hall, adjacent to the two main halls. In this special area, children are able to create gifts for their family and friends from over a dozen craft projects, suitable for all ages. Kids also love the Magic Shows and the usual visit from the North Pole…Santa Claus!
Also at this Festival will be Community Health Charities of New Mexico’s 8th Annual "Cookie Walk"; for only $15.00, patrons can purchase a box and fill it with their personal choices from over 250,000 fresh baked holiday cookies!

Admission is $6.00 for adults per day. Save money with a weekend Festival pass for $8.00 Children under 12 get in for free.
