The annual event features relatively inexpensive art works from the artists who are regular participants in the "Art in the Pines" artist studio tour which took place in June this year. The setting for the Mini show is the historic Old Mill located on Sudderth Drive in Ruidoso. The Mill was built in 1863 and is the oldest structure in Ruidoso. Over the years it has been used for many things including a sawmill, grist mill, post office, dance hall, meeting place and tourist attraction. The wheel at the Mill still turns in the spring, summer and fall; but is shut down during the winter due to freezing.

The Mill is presently owned by Michael and Delana Clements. Delana is the daughter of the Phillips. She continued to run it as a souvenir shop and museum until 2005 when the business was closed.
Art in the Pines has been fortunate to arrange for the use of this building as our showplace and gallery," Komara said.
The Mini show will open at noon on December 7th. A public reception is scheduled from 5 to 7pm that evening. On the 8th, the show hours will be from 10AM to 4PM.
