Fuller Lodge to Host
Los Alamos Studio Tour Preview

Los Alamos, NM – A special preview exhibition of the Los Alamos Studio Tour (LAST) will be showing in the Portal Gallery of The Art Center at Fuller Lodge, in conjunction with Art Expressions in Technology and Science. Both shows open Friday, March 28th, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Art Center.
LAST includes thirteen artists this year and is taking place Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Several artists will independently present their work at their studios and others will jointly exhibit at historic Fuller Lodge.

Working in a creative atmosphere like during the Tour or at the Art Center is essential for artists. Everybody gives each other a creativity boost!” says long-time LAST participant Menolda Bakker.
LAST takes place every year in April and is sponsored this year by The Art Center at Fuller Lodge, Los Alamos County, Los Alamos National Bank, and Paper Tiger of Santa Fe.

Four artists will be demonstrating their techniques during the tour: Melissa Bartlett (pastels) and Allen Brown (watercolors) will demonstrate on Saturday at Fuller Lodge, and Mary Carol Williams (watercolor) and Menolda Bakker (hat-making) will give demonstrations on Sunday in their studios.
