Jackie Spencer sends love to her theater

Spencer, a Dow-Jones heiress, made a bequest of her 80-piece art collection to the $24 million 514-seat theater she founded (and funded until her death in 2003) in Alto, New Mexico.

Also included in the silent auction is "Ya Ta Hay," a bronze sculpture by Glenna Goodacre and a 5-piece Red Poppy bowl work by Seattle glass sculptor Dale Chihuly. Chihuly donated the piece in 2001 to benefit the theater.
The art will be silent auctioned (using bid lists) with minimum fair market bids posted.
The event is part of a "Taste of the Spencer" which will feature food, drink, jewelry and other fund-raising activities. Admission to the event (and the auction) is just $25 per person.
