Guys, Beware!! Go easy on the Oso and the middle-eastern wines when listening to this music. These are the sorts of evocative middle-eastern tunes that may inspire those who've had a tiny bit too much to drink to make complete fools of themselves in front of God and everyone by performing erotic belly dances for the entertainment of other guests. My wife tells me guys my age with 52" waistlines look quite funny and very foolish when doing erotic belly dances. I don't know. I can't remember ever seeing anyone dance that way!

We understand that The Mediterranean will make no extra charge for music. However, reservations ARE recommended: 255-5244.

"Spanning styles from klezmer to Israeli and Middle Eastern to Sephardic, The Rebbe's Orkestra perform a lively set, infused with a respect for tradition as well as a playful sense of humor and joyousness that erases many of the stigmas attached to 'world music'." Michael Henningson, Music Editor, Weekly Alibi, New Mexico
