CNMAS Plans Woodpecker Lecture and Field Workshop

Albuquerque NM - The first program of the Central New Mexico Audubon's 11th Annual Birding Academy will occur at 7:15 on Thursday Feb. 19 will feature woodpeckers. The presenter will be Steve Shunk, nationally-known woodpecker expert. The program will go beyond identification skills and talk about the importance of woodpeckers to their ecosystems. The presentation will occur at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church (NW corner of Copper and Jefferson NE). For more info call CNMAS at 505-255-7622.
