ASTC’s “Passion for Fashion” Show Is May 2

It will be preceded and followed by a reception sponsored by Risotto's MedRim Bistro.
Tickets are on sale now and are $25 each or $15 with a valid student I.D. and may be purchased at the Hershel Zohn Theatre box office, by calling 575.646.4515, or by visiting Ticketmaster. You can link to Ticketmaster directly from the ASTC website:

Costumes will come from such shows as “Peter Pan,” “A Walk in the Desert,” “She Stoops to Conquer,” “A Christmas Carol” and many others. The show will include costumes from every era in the 20th century, some earlier historic periods and a fantasy costume sequence. NMSU students will serve as models.
NMSU Theatre Arts Costume Designer Deb Brunson is overseeing the fashion show, with assistance from costume coordinator Ginger Stull. Department Head Tom Smith is directing. Scenic and lighting elements are designed by Jim Billings, with sound design by Leandra Barreras.
Brunson and NMSU Theatre Arts alumni Wayne Hilton and Monika Mojica will serve as the evening’s masters of ceremonies.

"We are partnering on this event with ASA Architects, who are implemental in the design of the new Arts Complex on the NMSU campus. They have been an incredible asset to helping us bring this event to the public," said ASTC Board members Deb Hickey, Carolyn Williams and Laura Bemis, who are coordinating the entire event.
The American Southwest Theatre Company is a non-profit organization created in 1984 to enrich the community and the NMSU Theatre Arts Department and its students.
