Default Help win a new fire truck

HELP WIN A NEW FIRE TRUCK FOR POVERTY CREEK, NM

A major fire truck manufacturing company has offered to donate a modern fire engine pumper to one deserving fire department in the United States. The company, E-ONE, invited any fire department to tell them, in 500 words or less, why they felt they should receive the new fire truck. The Chief of the Winston-Chloride Volunteer Fire Department, located in Winston, NM, submitted a story about the troubles the Poverty Creek Volunteer Fire Department members were having in improving their fire fighting capabilities. Recently, E-ONE company officials informed the Winston-Chloride Chief that the story he submitted had been selected as one of seven finalists from the more than 600 submissions. The winner will be voted by the American public. All voting will be done on the internet and each e-mail address is allowed one vote. You do not have to be affiliated with any fire department to cast your vote.

We would like your help in bringing this modern fire fighting apparatus to New Mexico and specifically to the Poverty Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Sierra County. To vote click on the link below:

http://www.e-one.com/news/eone-stories/vote-for-the-best-story.htm

If the link does not work:
1) In your browser search window type e-one-vote
2) On the results page, click on the heading "E-ONE-VOTE FOR THE BEST STORY"
This will open the E-ONE web page that shows the stories about the seven finalist fire departments. Please bring up story number five, titled "Poverty Creek VFD written by Winston-Chloride VFD". After you have read the story, please cast your vote. You will need to provide a name and a valid e-mail address. Since the voting is based on the e-mail address only, you can complete the form with the name of any fire department, any time frame and any piece of equipment. If you like, you can name ‘Winston’ in the fire department blank. Take just a few minutes and help bring this beautiful new fire engine to Poverty Creek, NM.
